Vaccines
- COVID Vaccine Supply
- Is it time for your COVID booster? https://kingcounty.gov/en/dept/dph/health-safety/disease-illness/covid-19/reduce-risk/covid-vaccine
- Adults: All adults will need to receive their COVID vaccines at pharmacies. We can no longer be reimbursed by insurance companies for the vaccines. For adults we suggest looking at the Novovax (Novavaxoid) for a traditional vaccine option. Most pharmacies carry it. For people who had side effects with the mRNA vaccines, this is an adjuvant vaccine like most flu vaccines, and can have less side effects.
- Children: We have continued to get small shipments of Moderna for ages 6mo-18years. Call clinic to get on our schedule. They can be given at the same time as the flu vaccine.
- FLU vaccine
- Flu vaccines have been in short supply all season and we have not been allocated more adult vaccine. Contact us to ask about pediatric flu vaccines. As of now we have them.
- If you are 65 or older and would benefit from the high dose vaccine, you should get it at a pharmacy.
- Pneumonia vaccines
- If you are 50 years old, CDC now recommends getting a Pneumococcal vaccine. You can get this at the pharmacy. Please let us know if you have questions.
